Why a Pug Dog?

he key experience gave me a Pug named ELIZABETH, who strolled elegantly with a Lady in the Sanssouci Park in Potsdam.

His collar was trimmed with golden letters. We stroke up a conversation.

My love for baroque figures of oversubscription and obstinacy were found in this dog again.

Ever since I was infected.

Added to this the Pug successively accompanied me during the study. He dipped regularly in architecture and interior design magazines. "What has this dog, what others seem not to have?"

There were no focus to the furniture anymore, which should be advertised. It was about the Pug. My field research began. Mops royal was born.

I believe that the pug is very similar to us humans. His distinctive facial expressions and apparent attitude allow too much imagination. The Pug is a character and he is an aesthetic statement.

He also polarized and become an icon. Its characteristics and its origins are to be made, to quote artistically. When you draw it is not my intention to create an exact image, but to capture the essence of the pug, virtually "take the gist of the matter" .

In the work of Mops royal it goes almost entirely of Pug Dogs. It is still a little artistic Pug-breeding, which will also develop out of this race. The beginning is mostly the Pug-portrait. It evolve into stories, portrait art, illustrations, designs and contract works.
